While operations for MODERN of Edmonton North is new, the owner has over 15 years of experience in the cleaning industry as well as operations management and business ownership in the commercial cleaning industry.  He knows what it takes to provide outstanding service to his residential and commercial cleaning customers.

Meet The Team

David Urrego

Territory Sales Manager

David was born in Colombia and moved to Trois-Rivières, QC when he was 14. David has always been driven, and at age 18 he moved west to Alberta and completed two diplomas in college (medical assistance, and automotive mechanics). While doing this, David always worked in the cleaning industry with his family. That is where he gained his practical commercial cleaning knowledge. David has been a successful unit franchisee with Modern since 2021 and added the Territory Franchise license in August 2023. David also has the BOMA Building Operator Level 2 certificate and the ABSA (Alberta Boiler Safety Association) 5th Class Power Engineering ticket. David is also an avid soccer fan both on and off the field. But, his favourite thing to do is spending time with his family camping.

Edy Martinez

Special Projects

Edy is our special projects guru. Whether it is stripping and waxing a floor, carpet cleaning, pressure washing or windows, Edy has the expertise to do it all. With over 30 years of experience in the cleaning industry, Edy has cleaned spaces from 50 sq. ft to over 30,000 sq. ft. We know that he is ready for any challenge that comes his way.
